We provide these services so family members and employees don't have to deal with the mental anguish of the situation or more importantly the health risk.
All employees are aware of and certified on lockout/tag-out procedures, fall protection and permit required certified spaces.
Losing a loved one under any circumstance is difficult. Utilizing the service of death clean-up specialists is vital. We understand that while our services are mandatory, the process of cleaning a death scene should be done respectfully and efficiently.

During your time of loss, you have enough to worry about. 1st Nations offers comprehensive death clean-up services. We go beneath the surface to remove, clean and sanitize any potentially harmful or dangerous materials. Once the area is clear, we then replace or repair any affected structural components such as carpet, flooring, drywall or paint. Our professional, certified technicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so regardless of when you require our services, we will be on the scene until the job is complete. We hope this will provide you with some sense of normalcy during a very traumatic time.

Most common Hazards at a Trauma Scene:
Blood borne pathogens:

  • Hepatitis B (HBV)
  • Hepatitis C (HCV)
  • Herpes
  • Tuberculosis

  • HIV/AIDS
  • Hanta Virus

Blood borne pathogens can and do live in dried blood for weeks and in some instances, scientists have found it alive after a month!

Trauma Scene Practitioners License (TSW85)
We are licensed Trauma Scene Practitioners based in the Northeast providing services for homeowners, law enforcement agencies, property management companies, city, county and state agencies. We provide remediation services to residential, commercial and industrial environments which have been affected by the presence of biological infectious waste such as blood, or body fluids and human decomposition. We also provide state-of-the-art odor neutralization to all affected areas. Our services are not limited to crime and trauma scenes but also include suicides, decomposition and/or natural accidental deaths. We also offer services involving jail facilities, hospitals, aircraft and vehicular accidents.

Unattended Death Clean-up
An unattended death is when someone dies and is not discovered for a period of time- days, weeks, or months. The human body will decompose leaving a foul odor behind, know as "dead man" odor or "decomp". Scientifically, the odor is referred to as hydrogen sulfide and can be detrimental to property value. 1st Nations uses state-of-the-art Titanium Dioxide that will destroy all virus, bacteria and odor.
Unattended death and human decomposition are some of the most intensive scenes to clean. Most of the time, all the "soft goods" from the residence must be removed and disposed of. Cleaning the flooring and removing what is outwardly apparent can be just the beginning. Body fluids will usually seep through carpeting, flooring, under baseboards and into the foundation structure. Much of this depends on the amount of time the person has been there and the temperature of the dwelling.
1st Nations understands that remediating your property is most important- call today: 1.866.380.8009.

Suicide Cleaning Service
There are few things more devastating to a family or community than a suicide. Unfortunately, suicides do happen and 1st Nations is there to help. We provide complete disinfection of scene, including removal of all blood stains, body fluids and any furniture at the clients request. We understand how traumatizing a suicide can be and believe discretion and compassion is vitally important. We provide confidential service and have a policy to never speak to media or outside agencies. Our vehicles are discreet and unmarked, and we provide grief counseling to our clients should they need a shoulder to cry on.
Suicide scenes range from complete multi-room devastation, to contamination in a very small area depending on the method of and weapon used. Whatever the situation, 1st Nations provides rapid response to your home or business and ensures that all bio hazardous waste is removed and transported to the proper waste facility.

Odor Abatement
Hydrogen Sulfide, also known as "dead man's odor" is a contamination which needs special attention. 1st Nations uses state-of-the-art Titanium Dioxide to remediate decomp odor after the bio hazardous material has been removed. Only when the source of the odor has been removed can we start with odor remediation. Often noxious odors such as cigarette smoke and pet odor can be remediated with TO2 which eats and destroys the source of the odor. Foggers, air movers and air filtration will deodorize for a few weeks, but the odor will eventually return if the source has not been fully decontaminated.
1st Nations has a proven process to clean your property of source odor.
